The person then lowers the legs until they are about six to eight inches off of the ground, and then repeats the movement.

One final exercise that works the oblique muscles is the side plank. Many people who wonder how to build up muscle and core strength often neglect the oblique muscles. To do the side plank exercise, one simply starts off by lying on one’s side. By raising the body up off the ground and keeping the elbow and forearm on the ground, the body is forced to use the obliques to resist the force of gravity. When holding this position, one should make sure that the arm does not get too far out in front of the body, or there will be unnecessary strain on the arm and shoulder. The arm should stay directly below the shoulder for maximum efficiency.

No Need to over Exert Yourself

Although, getting a good workout in is very important you also have to remember to not push yourself if your body is not used to it. Blew Me Away

Almost Missed This
