I Am Going to Be Interning with a Sales Staffing Company

I am a college sophomore and I have just about wrapped up all my exams for the semester and I am ready to head home for summer break. A lot of my friends are going to be spending their summers babysitting, life guarding or plain doing nothing at all, but not me – I am going to be interning for a very well recognized and prestigious sales staffing firm. My father is friends with the owner and he pulled a few strings to get me this internship and I can’t wait to start. I am really hoping to become a sales professional once I graduate from college and this internship is the ticket for me learning all the skills I need before I graduate. I don’t know exactly what I will be doing, but I really hope it is something sales related and I do not get stuck doing data entry and menial tasks for eight hours a day. My dad told me that I will be getting a ton of valuable real world sales experience – I really hope he is right!
